About Thyretain

Because Graves’ disease, which shares a direct link with hyperthyroidism, can cause nonspecific symptoms, the disease can be difficult to diagnose. These nonspecific symptoms are usually overlooked or mistaken for other disorders, which can prevent the early diagnosis of Graves’ disease.

Fortunately, Thyretain TSI Reporter BioAssay is now commercially available for the detection of thyroid-stimulating immunoglobulin (TSI) in the bloodstream, the antibodies directly linked to Graves’ disease. The detection of these stimulating autoantibodies, in conjunction with other clinical and laboratory findings, may be useful as an aid in the differential diagnosis of patients with Graves’ disease.
